To run DEPTHS.WAD, copy depths.wad to your doom directory, then while in your 
DOOM directory type:

   doom -file depths.wad

Choose the difficulty level you want. (Episode doesn't matter.)

Start the game.

Then, to go directly to the DEPTHS level, type:

   idclev32
