README.TXT May 22, 1993 þ Thanks for purchasing Dr.CD-ROM (tm), a product of ACES Research, Inc. þ This CD-ROM is ISO9660 format and for DOS only. þ To operate the help function, please use PGUP, PGDN, UP, DOWN to move cursor. þ To do a text searching, please press ALT-F to pop up prompt and enter the TARGET string. þ There are some handful of utilities on this CD-ROM. They are located in the /ZIP directory. These two excellent programs are SHEZ (SHEZ65.ZIP) & PKZ204G.EXE. þ You must PKUNZIP.EXE to decompress files. PKUNZIP.EXE and PKZIP.EXE are included in file PKZIP204g.EXE under ZIP directory. þ There are two ways to decompress files from this CD-ROM. Make new directory in hard drive C or D: 1. C: 2. MD TEMP (create the directory) 3. F: (change to the CD-ROM drive) 4. PKUNZIP.EXE F:\WORD\FIRST.ZIP C:\TEMP (extract files from FIRST.ZIP to C:\TEMP) Or use GO.EXE's catalog function: 1. Select catalog pull-down menu and favorite file area. 2. Use ALT-T to tag file for extracting. 3. Enter destination drive and path. þ We have tried to make this CD-ROM as easy as possible to use on a BBS. There are so many different file listing formats, so it would almost be impossible to satisfy everyone. þ Each directory contains a listing called FILES.BBS,and a total listing is named by FILES.ALL in ROOT directory. þ All the file listings are plain text format. BBS sysops may use editor to modify the contents. þ The files on this CD are shareware, freeware, or public domain, except for some of which are copyrighted by ACES Research, Inc. You may not copy them to another CD. þ You are not necessary to register those programs unless you continue to use them. In order to obtain the right, you need to send registration form to the authors or developers listed in the individual program. End of Help !
