Rules for Organizing ITC-Sponsored
Seminars

- ITC-Sponsored Seminars are meetings of experts with focus on a selected
topic of teletraffic science and engineering. They should be placed preferably
outside ITC-Congress years.ITC- Sponsored Seminars are international events
preferably organized for experts of a particular region (regional seminars)
and/or of a particular topic.
- ITC-Sponsored Seminars must be approved by the International Advisory
Council (IAC) of ITC. Submission of proposals should be directed to the
chairman of IAC, accompanied by a description of the aim, topic, the target
participants and a proposal for the Advisory, Organizing and Technical
Committee. Representatives of the IAC should be included in these Committees.
The Technical Programme Committee is responsible for the assurance of the
technical quality of the Seminar and its contributions.
- The IAC supports the Seminar by active advice for the organization,
the proper composition of the committees, review of the call for papers
and the final programme proposals for invited experts/lectures and distribution
and announcements within the ITC community, as appropriate.
- The IAC should be present at the Seminar by IAC members, preferably
also by the IAC chairman or vice-chairman. Other participants should be
invited by the IAC as appropriate.
- Contributions and results of the Seminar should be published by Seminar
Proceedings. The proceedings should be made available to the IAC. The results
of the Seminar are reported to the IAC and to the following ITC-Congress.
