Purpose: Plays VOC files from the command line without screen output.
         (perfect for batch files, system boot-up, etc.)


Usage: WMHVP   filename[.voc]    [-240]
             (VOC Path/Filename) (SB I/O Address.)

       í   Default SB I/O address is [220]
       í   Bracketed options '[]' are optional
       í   Do not include brackets in command line.
       í   The slash '/' character may be used intsead of
            the minus '-' character in the SB I/O switch.

Example command lines:

 "WMHVP register"       - Plays the file "register.voc" using defaults
 "WMHVP register -240"  - Plays "register.voc" using alternate SB I/O add.
 "WMHVP register.voc"   - Also plays "register.voc" with default I/O. (220)
 "WMHVP c:\soundfils\register.voc" - Note that full paths are ok.
 "WMHVP \register"                 - Another path variation.


Included files:

   WMHVP.EXE    -- Command line voc player executable. (place in PATH)
   WMHVPDOC.TXT -- This file.
   REGISTER.VOC -- Sample VOC file with original guitar lick.
   FILE_ID.DIZ  -- Automatic BBS description file.
   VOC.BAT      -- Script for XtreeGold users. (See below.)


XtreeGold Users:   Place the VOC.BAT file in your XtreeGold dir, and 
                   WMHVP.EXE somewhere in your PATH.  The next time
                   you run XtreeGold just hit "O" when the cursor bar
                   is on a VOC file to play it!

Programmers note:  

        Notice that there are no nag screens or usage counters, and for
   that matter, no output to the screen at all when playing is successful.
   I have done this because this program would not do it's job with any 
   of that stuff in place.  This means that I depend 100% on you reading 
   this file and liking me and/or my program enough to send some bucks my way.
   Please, support decent shareware, and send me the five smackers.  I think 
   that you will be pleased with what I will send you for that little lincoln 
   picture.  

    If you don't want to register, but like this program, or my sometimes 
   silly prose; at least give this program to some of your pals and tell 
   them you registered it and that they should also.
