School Education for Young Foreign Students

The primary and high schools can accept foreign children at the right age to study in the schools. Usually schools can accept foreign children whose parents are constant residents in China. However, for foreign students whose parents do not live in China constantly, their parents must formally consign foreigners or Chinese who are constant residents in China as the guardian for their children.
The transaction of consignment procedure: if the transaction of consignment procedure is transacted out of China, the consignment should go through notarization and attestation in the country the student's nationality belongs to, and attestation of China embassy to that country. If the consignment procedure is transacted within China, it should go through the notarization in Chinese notarization offices or attestation of China embassy to his country.
Foreign primary and high school students can come to study in China in groups for a short term (within 6 months). The accepting party and the dispatching party should sign a contract or agreement beforehand. The dispatching party should transact the relevant legal procedures for those students according to their domestic laws.
If foreign primary and high school students are organized to come to or leave China, the foreign dispatching organization should send a representative to travel together with the students as their guardian in China.
Foreign students should live with their parents or guardians, or live in the dormitories provided by the school.
Except the necessary Chinese remediation, foreign students should have classes together with Chinese students.
When foreign students accomplish required schoolwork, and pass the examination, the school should issue graduate certificates. For students who haven't completed the required schoolwork, the school should issue a realistic study certificate; for those who have completed the required schoolwork but failed to pass the examination, the school should issue a realistic study certificate.
