The correspondence education university is an adult education style with self-study as its main form and face-to-face teaching as its auxiliary form. Usually the face-to-face teaching of 2 weeks is held once a term before the final examination each term. The schooling length is 2-4 years. The recruit objects are employees graduated from senior high schools and other talent youth. The students can acquire graduation certificates from the school, which are acknowledged by the country, if they successfully finish the regulated courses within required time. If the student successfully passed the examination of a single subject, he/she can acquire a study certificate; if the university has the right of granting bachelor degree, the student can grant degrees to qualified students according to the regulation. The fundamental teaching materials of the correspondence education is compiled and recommended by the Ministry of Education with relevant departments. The electric auxiliary teaching methods include television, broadcasting, projector and tape recording.
