             : 1  \  :  /  2 :

             :  /  1 : 2  \  :

Directions:

1) Cut two 7 3/8" squares of color 1
2) Cut two 7 3/8" squares of color 2
3) Place one square of each color, right sides together
4) Draw line diagonally through square

   :\      :
   :  \    :
   :    \  :
   :______\:

5) Stitch 1/4" seams on each side of line

   :\\     :
   : \\\   :
   :   \\\ :
   :_____\\:


6) Cut squares apart at diagonal line
7) Press seams to the darker color
8) Repeat with remaining two squares
9) Sew squares together with colors alternating in a pinwheel fashion
   pressing seams as you go.
