===================== MAPI MESSAGE PAD 4.0 ===================== MAPI Message Pad is a "While You Were Out" type telephone message system for Windows 95 and Windows NT. Message Pad utilizes the messaging services (MAPI) provided by Windows. It requires a post office and user accounts created with Microsoft Mail or the Mail application provided with Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51. The shareware version of Message Pad is freely distributable. It includes all of the features of the registered version, except for database features which require additional database runtime files. --------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS --------------------------- To install Message Pad in Windows 95 using the Setup program: * Click the Start button and select the Run command * In the Command Line box, type X:\SourcePath\Setup, where X:\SourcePath is the drive and directory where the Message Pad files are located. To install Message Pad in Windows NT using the Setup program: * From the Windows Program Manager's File menu, choose Run * In the Command Line box, type X:\SourcePath\Setup, where X:\SourcePath is the drive and directory where the Message Pad files are located. You also must have a post office and user accounts created with MS Mail. You do not need to set up any additional accounts or tell Message Pad who you are.
