Rule for hot URLs and run://

Using hot URLs

To activate any URL just ctrl-click it!
For example if you have a the following text in a RichEdit

http://www.aztec.co.za/users/andrev/DaRT/DaRT.html

Hold down the ctrl button and click on the URL.
If your browser is correctly configured it will start up and take you to the Notes home page.

The following URLs are valid

NB your browser must support these URLs for this to work!

Using the run:// tag

Using the run:// tag works exactly the same as do hot URLs.
Just type in the name of the program preceded by run://
Then whenever you ctrl-click it your program will be started
For example if you have a the following text in a RichEdit
run://c:\windows\notepad.exe
run://c:\windows\readme.txt
Ctrl-clicking on either will start an application.

Notice the 2nd example, you can run any file that has a registred extension. You could start WinWord simply by using run://path.doc
In fact you can even run URLs this way

run://http://www.aztec.co.za/users/andrev/DaRT/DaRT.html
