|
Shout3D supports some important forms of parametric geometry found in VRML97, including primitives, extrusions and elevation grids.
You go further and create your own parametric geometry nodes. As an example, your Shout3D installation comes with a Pyramid custom node (source code included), with parameters for width, height and depth.
Wireframe geometry can be very useful, and very efficient. Shout3D supports the classic VRML IndexedLineSet and PointSet nodes, with the added ability to set your own lineWidth or pointSize.
Even NURBS surfaces are possible.
