The facilities that are used most are: 

1. The World Wide Web, which provides easy access to the mass of information on the Internet. 

2. Electronic mail or e-mail, which allows people to write to each other.  

3. Newsgroups, which enables people with common interests to communicate.

4. Chat, allows a number of people to meet and have written conversations. Chat is similar to having a telephone conversation with a number of people at the same time, only you type instead of talk.
