The Internet sets new challenges. Lots of people saw Kenneth Starr's report on the Clinton/Lewinsky affair on the Internet before TV networks or newspapers could show it to them. But what was the value of seeing a 300 page document first? 

Critics say the Internet is a solution looking for a problem to solve. A fairer criticism would be to say that people aren't always clear about what they want from it.
