The Internet is difficult to ignore but it deserves the attention it gets. 

It is a faster, cheaper way for us all to communicate.  

It gives everyone access to enormous amounts of information.

It is changing what we can do, as individuals. For the first time anyone can publish work at virtually no cost to an enormous, potential audience. Everyone has a talent and the Internet lets us share it.
