ENGINET is an Engineer's Network.  This system was designed by a Licensed 
Professional Engineer and is maintained by a staff of technical professionals.
The purpose of this network is to provide a forum where engineers can work 
together and share knowledge, ideas, files, and resources.

There are several key services that this system provides.

     -  Each conference is designed to be an open forum that allows 
        engineers of that particular discipline to cooperate with others
        in their field.
     -  The files area within each conference offer a wealth of engineering
        programs.
     -  JOB BANK is a data base system that aids engineers and employers in
        meeting job needs.

Immediately upon registering to ENGINET you are given full access to
conferences and mail.  Limited access to JOB BANK and files is also granted.
To become a paid registrant and be given additional privileges and more
online time, go online with ENGINET and read bulletin 2 on the main board.

JOB BANK is open to all ENGINET users.  First time users may place their 
resume synopsis online at no charge.  JOB BANK allows engineers and 
technical professionals to find career advancement and contract
opportunities and also allows companies or employers to locate qualified 
professionals.

To access JOB BANK, get online with ENGINET at (513) 858-2688 and open
door 1 by typing OPEN 1 at the command prompt.  Again, no charge will be
incurred. 


SEARCHING RESUMES FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

To search resumes, select 2 from the main menu.  You will be
prompted for a skill or text to search for.  All of the resumes
in the JOB BANK data base will be scanned for this skill.  You will
then be shown the number of resumes that contain the skill that you
are seeking.  You will then be given the option of narrowing your
search.  Narrowing the search will scan the previously matched resumes
for yet another skill.  The search may be narrowed or expanded
until you are satisfied with the number of matches.  You may view
the selected resumes at any time.
         
You may view resumes by selecting 1 from the search menu.  After
each resume is displayed you will be asked if you would like an
ENGINET representative to contact you concerning this candidate.
If yes, an ENGINET representative will call.  At that time we will
explain our fees and policies.

ADDING YOUR RESUME TO JOB BANK
      
You may place your resume online at no charge.  Resumes may be
uploaded or mailed in.  Your resume may be uploaded into the JOB
BANK conference.  To do this you must join conference 15 and select U
for upload.  Have your resume written in ASCII or generic text,
please no word processor files.  The other option is to drop your
resume in the mail to ENGINET, P.O. Box 18505, Fairfield, OH  45018.
   
Once ENGINET receives your resume, it will be edited to maintain
anonymity and placed into the JOB BANK data base.  This process may
take a couple of days.  We recommend that you log on to search
and view your resume.  If what you see does not meet your approval, 
please leave a comment to the sysop so that changes may be made.
     
ENGINET strives to maintain confidentiality.  This is how we make
our money.  We attempt not to reveal personal information until you
agree to release it to a perspective employer.  However, we are only
