Located along the Bora River in a deep water area of the delta, within Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Tchau Camp has access to permanent water throughout the year. Tchau offers guests the opportunity to experience the rivers, floodplains and tranquil lagoons of the Okavango Delta, with the chance to walk on some of the small and large islands in the area. There are no vehicles in the neighborhood and all traveling is in boats, on foot, or in mokoros. Your mokoro excursions are the most natural way to reach the many islands in the area, where walks may provide views of animals such as buffalo and cheetah. Fishing is great, with bream being a favorite quarry. Bird life is excellent and the Boro floodplains have the highest concentration of Wattled cranes in Botswana. Four twin-bedded tented rooms with en suite facilities, are set beneath tall and shady trees on the edge of the island and allow plenty of room and security while still affording intimate contact with the wild. There is a central bar and dining area where guests gather for meals. A large outdoor fireplace is a natural gathering spot after the evening meal where the days adventures can be retold.
