About On Safari

You and On Safari

Whether you decide to take a participation camping safari or indulge in a vacation at a deluxe private game reserve, your safari to Africa will have a meaningful effect on your life.

Author Aaron Latham asked Dr. Richard Leakey (noted paleoanthropologist and former Director of the Kenya Wildlife) why it is that the visitor to Africa feels a profound stirring of the soul. Dr. Leakey replied that it is our genetic memory.

By visiting the wilderness areas of Africa you make a contribution to the preservation of wildlife and their habitats. You also begin the journey that never ends.
