The magnificent camp surroundings, with indigenous gardens and a swimming pool cascading into a natural waterhole, are matched by luxurious accommodation and fine cuisine. After a day packed with wildlife adventure, guests enjoy a welcoming log fire, before moving to a candlelit courtyard or open boma where an exceptional three-course dinner is served. There are 20 luxurious bush chalets, complete with en suite bathrooms. The chalets are decorated with superb attention to detail and each has its own charm with carefully selected artifacts, antique furniture and wispy mosquito nets. For the ultimate in luxury, you can request Ngalas Safari Suite, set quietly away in a secluded part of the camp. The Safari Suite has a living room and sundeck overlooking a waterhole, an en suite bedroom opening onto a private garden and swimming pool, plus its own Landrover and personal ranger on standby. Game drives and walks at Ngala, conducted by an experienced team of game rangers and skilled Shangaan trackers, are exciting and fascinating. Situated at the junction of Mopane forests and the Timbavati flood plain, Ngala is renowned for its breeding herds of elephant and great prides of lion. Ngala also boasts leopard, cheetah, rhino and buffalo and a proliferation of general game and bird life.
