Jedibe Island Camp is located in the region of permanent water and allows for water activities throughout the year. Jedibe offers the ultimate Okavango water experience - quiet lagoons, fast flowing channels, aquatic plant life and a wide diversity of water adapted animals. Much of the time will be spent punting across floodplains and clear waterways while reclining in a mokoro (wooden dug-out canoe). In addition, you will also be able to boat to lagoons, enjoy superb fishing for tigerfish or bream and explore palm-fringed islands for birds. When not out on the water, you can relax in your private tented room or at the waterside lounge-bar. A new feature at Jedibe is a double-decker boat which may be used for sunset cruises or by small groups for over-night stops on lagoons. Jedibe is a permanent tented camp, accommodating a maximum of sixteen guests. The large walk-in, twin-bedded tented rooms are comfortably furnished and located among palm trees for privacy - bathroom facilities are en suite. Lighting is solar powered.
