HECTOR ELIZONDO

Hector Elizondo (Dr. Phillip Watters) first gained recognition in the original Off-Broadway production of Steambath, which earned him an Obie Award. He went on to star in the Broadway productions of The Price, Prisoner of Second Avenue, The Great White Hope and Sly Fox, which won him a Drama Desk Award nomination.

His feature-film credits include Pretty Woman, for which he received Golden Globe and American Comedy Award nominations, Beverly Hills Cop 3, Frankie and Johnny, Necessary Roughness, The Flamingo Kid, American Gigolo and The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3. Hector received an Emmy Award nomination for the American Playhouse drama Mrs. Cage. He also starred in the mini-series The Burden of Proof, appeared in the series Tales from the Crypt, and provided the voice of Ioz in the animated series Pirates of Dark Waters.

For his role in Chicago Hope, Hector was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. He was born and raised in New York and now lives with his wife in Sherman Oaks, California.
