IAN ZIERING
Ian Ziering's (Steve Sanders) career break is stereotypical but
true: when he was 12, he was spotted in a supermarket by a talent manager who encouraged his mother to get him into
show business.
His career grew impressively, even before Beverly Hills 90210. For over two years, he had a
starring role on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light, and he played the lead in Flour Babies, an
afterschool special directed by Linda Lavin. He has also had
recurring roles in various daytime dramas,
including Love of Life and The Doctors, and made his feature film debut with Brooke Shields in
Endless Love.
Ian has also appeared on stage. He played Nils in the Broadway hit I Remember
Mama, and John in the national tour of Peter Pan. During his 1995 summer hiatus, Ian completed the
upcoming independent feature film Flash Frame, a thriller about a young attorney.
