DAYS OF OUR LIVES Days Of Our Lives (DAYS) is set in the fictional Midwestern town of Salem. The two families of focus are the Hortons and the Bradys. DAYS premiered as a half-hour drama on November 8, 1965 and was expanded to an hour ten years later. DAYS is one of the few daytime dramas which has been telecast in prime time: "One Stormy Night" aired in 1992, "Night Sins" in 1993 and "Winter Heat" in 1994. DAYS continues to be a favorite among viewers; since the inception of the viewer-selected Soap Opera Awards ten years ago, DAYS has won all but one Favorite Show honors.
