Volvo
Volvo began manufacturing passenger cars in Goteborg, Sweden, in 1927. In 1955, the company entered the U.S. market, and by 1980 over one million vehicles had been exported to the United States. Volvo currently markets two models in the United States through approximately 370 dealerships.
