| Mitsubishi Motors became Japan's first volume car producer with the 1917 Model A. Founded by Yataro Iwasaki, the company's familiar "three diamond" logo is based on his family crest. Mitsubishi literally means "three diamonds" in Japanese. Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America sells through more than 500 dealer outlets in all 50 states. |
