Power Door Locks

These permit a vehicle's doors to be locked or unlocked electrically. There are three forms of power door locks: a central locking system that allows all doors to be locked or unlocked by pressing a button located either inside the vehicle or on a separate remote; speed-sensitive locks that are activated by either accelerating or shifting gears; and programmable door locks that are activated by entering a code into a keypad on the door.
