Loosen up and use your brain!
Disclaimer: We do not believe in destructive or illegal pranks.
After all, it takes more of a mind stretch to nondestructively mess with
peoples minds, and it is *more* fun! We are trying to establish/revive the
prank-culture at Stanford, and for the most part we feel we have succeeded.

1993-94. . . .The NGSI. . . .Non Gender Specific It
History:
This one started out as a "we're bored and what are we
going to do?" between myself and 2 of my buddies (who will for now remain
nameless. After some emails (due to be online shortly) we decided to
mess with the school's collective intellect by posting up a random meaningless
symbol and NOTHING else! We did this is 10 different ways throughout the
course of the year. As I update this page, this will all be more specific.
Suffice it to say that we (1)posted 10,000 fliers (2)chalk marked the school,
(3)hung huge banners (bedsheets) and wrapped kiosks (4)emailed large numbers
anonymously (5)sent postcards to over 300 faculty and the board of trustees
and the faculty senate (6)put up signs (7)made a "grainfield" NGSI in the
hills (8)constructed a banner 25x25 feet that hung for a day from the Art
Building and later appeared in the 1995 graduation ceremonies.
Pictures & newpaper clippings to appear later. . .
We did more (2 last year, one so far this year), but due
to the anger this spurred in some, I have decided not to put them up. One
last year worked beyond our wildest dreams, and the one this year that we
revived from the 1920's was taken down before it could achieve results.
