The c|net tour is enhanced for the latest Netscape Navigator 2.0 browser because this tour utilizes frames. You can get the latest version of Navigator 2.0 through shareware.com. If you really want to take the tour without Netscape Navigator 2.0 (even though it's a free and easy download), please skip step 3.

Open your browser window all the way. In this tour, the entire c|net site appears within a main frame on the left of your screen, and yellow, numbered audio buttons that guide you through the tour appear in a secondary frame on the right.

Only the pages visited in the tour are located on this CD-ROM. We have included all of the links to our live site. If you are connected to the Net, you can jump to our live site by clicking on any of these links. Remember that when you've jumped to our live site, all links from there will also be live. You'll need to click on the back button to return to the CD-ROM.

If you haven't navigated frames before, you should know that your browser's Back and Forward buttons don't work within a frame. Using those buttons will remove you from the tour entirely. To go backward and forward within a frame, hold down your mouse button on a "blank" area within that frame. (Use the right mouse button if you're running Windows.) This will bring up a menu that offers "Back in Frame" and "Forward in Frame" options.
