THE GREAT AMERICAN SMOKESCREAM
FACT SHEET

SmokeScream
Teens "Scream Out Against Smoking"
During the Loudest 7-Second Sound Bite

WHAT:
The Great American SmokeScream, a first-ever national event in middle and junior high schools, developed to put teenage lungs to good use as part of a week-long educational effort to help kids resist the first cigarette.

WHERE:
Schools across the nation

WHO:
The event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society as part of the annual Great American Smokeout activities.
