Every month The Net's team of crack reviewers check out hundreds of sites,
wading through the confusion of the Web so you don't have to. The Blue Pages
is netPOWER's monthly roundup of the best sites from the pages of The Net.
Check them out through either the direct links or site mirrors*.
These sites were current when originally mirrored. Given the ephemeral nature
of the Web, the actual sites probably have more content now! All sites were
mirrored with the permission of the owners and copyright is retained by
these owners.
If would like to be considered to be mirrored on a future edition of netPOWER!,
please contact us at blue@thenet-usa.com.
*ALSO: Not all of the links from these sites are stored locally on the netPOWER disc. When there is a link that is external to the disc, we have included this
graphic. When you see that little arrow, it means that you must be online to go to that link.

*netPOWER contains "mirrors"of various museum Web sites. By mirroring, we mean that we've stored locally
on this CD-ROM the Web pages you would see if you were cruising the Internet
and accessed the particular museum's net address. We've chosen Web sites
that are particularly rich in graphics, and also heavily trafficked. This
way, you'll be able to easily access these sites, without having to wait
as long for downloads and displays as you would if you were traveling over
the net.
One thing to remember is that some of the functions of the Web pages
we've mirrored on this disc may not work. For instance, image-maps (pictures
that, when clicked on, link you to another page) are turned off on the CD-ROM.
Also, pages that have forms on them won't work, because the Web site's server
needs to process the information you send it. In addition, it is beyond
the scope of this CD to mirror links that would take you to sites external
to the ones we've mirrored. If a page on the CD-ROM has a link to a page
that needs a site's server (like a form), or if the link is to a site that
is not on the CD-ROM, the link will have this arrow by it. You can access
that link if you have an active connection to the internet.
