Padleft


Purpose   Expands and left justifies a string.

Decln.    PadLeft(Str:String;Size:byte;Pad:Char);string;

Returns   String

Remarks   Str is the source string.
          Size is the new string length.
          Pad is the character to expand the string with.

Example

VAR
  TTT:STRING;
BEGIN
    TTT := PADLEFT(' ASTERISK ',20,'*');
END;

The string TTT is assigned the value " ASTERISK **********".
