Windows 95 does not display the 3-character file extensions by default.
Select the 'View' menu, select 'Options...', and click the 'View' tab. Clear the 'Hide MS-DOS file extensions for file types that are registered' check box.
1) From within 'My Computer', 'Windows Explorer, or on the desktop, double-click the folder containing the files to be viewed.
2) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Options...'. (The 'Options' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'View' tab.
4) Clear the 'Hide MS-DOS file extensions for file types that are registered' check box.
5) (Optional) Select the 'Show all files' radio button to display hidden files and their extensions.
6) Click 'OK'.
7) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Refresh' to update the file display.
NOTE: The above solution applies to any folder containing files.
