@DATABASE "MagicAl1.guide" @AUTHOR "A. ten Bokkel Huinink" @FONT XHelvetica.font 13 @NODE "MAIN" "MagicAl1.guide"" @NEXT "MAIN" Sorry that it took so long after the "magical0" release for this archive most of these icons were collecting electronic dust for some time but I finally have a good account so I thought I'd better get it on Aminet fast. The file "ILBM.ScreenShotPatches" shows an example of how your wb could look like. @{" Author " LINK "Author"} @{" Copyright " LINK "Copyright"} @{" Creation " LINK "Creation"} @{" Credits " LINK "Credits"} @{" Hints & Tips section " LINK "Hints & Tips section"} @{" Templates " LINK "Templates"} Note: this archive replaces magical0.lha @ENDNODE @NODE "Author" Snail Mail: A. ten Bokkel Huinink Kamelenspoor 137 3605 EG Maarssen The Netherlands Email: alex.ten.bokkel.huinink@tip.nl Note: the "ten" doesn't mean the number 10 ;^) @ENDNODE @NODE "Copyright" You are allowed to spread it all over the world using any storage medium available, but you must spread the whole package. Programmers & creators of PD-software are allowed to include single icons of their program in this package in their own package-distributions. No one is allowed to take more than 1,- (English pound) or the equivalent including disk and copying cost, and you must include some other MagicWB icons/patterns to fill up the disk by to a minimum of 90%. Status: the icons are @{B}Freeware@{UB} If anyone wants to use part of the icons for their creative moods feel free to do so, I like to get more MagicWB icons :) The two 32-color pictures included are made by myself and those are not to be modified and/or re-distributed without my permission, eg. if Trevor Morris or anyone else like to make an 8 color MWB pattern out of it and place it on the net, I want to see the result before I approve of it. @ENDNODE @NODE "Creation" Some of the icons included are from Roman Patzner or others and all I did was give it a grey background but with most I was more creative, I especially like the way the MegaBall icon looks. :) (I will register it as soon as I can afford it, Ed & Al Mackey, honest :) ). Some of the icons were drawn or request (sorry that it took so long guys) And please don't hesitate to send some ideas along because almost all the programs I have, have a nice MWB icons. @ENDNODE @NODE "Credits" Thanks to the following people: o Martin 'XEN' Huttenloher for creating the 'Magic Workbench' o Roman Patzner for his collections and thanks for the Data picture ;) o Trevor "pattern9" Morris for his MWBStuff, keep making the Stuff :) o and to all the other icon/pattern creators out there. @ENDNODE @NODE "Hints & Tips section" For all of those who still get some of the patterns with the wrong colors on the screen here is what you should do: Take a snapshot from your WB screen with one of those handy grab programs. If you don't have such a progam you'll have to do it @" the hard way. " LINK "HardWay"} :) Load it into your favourite paint program, (you'd better have one :> ) now you've got the exact colors on the screen as your WB screen save the palette for future use. Load the screen size backgrounds as a picture, load the palette and save the picture. For the smaller patterns, load them as a picture, load the palette, pick up the picture as a brush, save the brush and you should have a correct looking brush. @ENDNODE @NODE "HardWay" Write down all the colors with their RGB numbers, you can find them when you start your Prefs/Palette program, and alter the colors in the paint program accordingly. @ENDNODE @NODE "Templates" @FONT XCourier.font 13 MUI Program - Any MUI Program except Prefs, since MUI Programs always seem to be commodities I have added the Commodity border here.
