Hotkeys

CD/Spectrum Pro includes support for programmable hotkeys. You can now configure the software to respond to user-defined hotkeys, even when another application has the focus.

To do this, right-click on the Console window, and choose the menu option “Set HotKeys…”. That will bring up a dialog box in which you can turn on/off individual hotkeys, and set the keystrokes which activate each.

To turn on a hotkey, simply check the appropriate box. Then, you’ll also need to set the hotkey by clicking the “Set Hotkey” button. This will bring up a small window - then just press the key combination you wish to assign to that action.

For example, you could assign <control><alt>M to be the “mute” hotkey. Then, as long as CD/Spectrum Pro is running, pressing <control><alt>M will toggle mute, even from within other applications.
