How to Change File Associations

You can turn on and off the MP3/WAV file associations in CD/Spectrum Pro by following these instructions:

1. Open CD/Spectrum Pro

2. Open the MediaFile module

3. right-click anywhere in the MediaFiles window

4. Choose the menu option "Associations and Icons"

5. Turn on or off the relevant checkboxes

6. Click OK

Note that this procedure generally removes CDSPro from the association. After that, you may need to use Windows or your preferred application to reset the association to your preferrred application.
