This disk contains three main components: InstantNET web access, the CITK Guide and the Site Designer.
InstantNET is a free ISP allowing free internet access and email. It can be installed from the autorun menu of the CD or from the "getting connected" part of the CITK Guide program. You do not need to install InstantNET to use any of the other parts of the Complete Internet Toolkit.
The CITK Guide is a video based introduction to the internet and our Site Designer program aimed at novice users. It will test your modem and internet access, allow you to install InstantNET free web access and guide you through creating your own website with the site designer. Experienced users may want to skip this program completely and go straight into the Site Designer program.
The Site Designer is an easy to use Windows application that allows you to create and upload simple but effective web sites without any programming or internet experience. You can view our help files at any time in the program by pressing F1. In order to upload any sites you have created, you need to have internet access installed and working on your PC. This can be tested from the CITK Guide.
