If you see an OverDrive processor part number is listed as PODP (none), or DX4ODP (none) then that particular OverDrive processor is not recommended as an upgrade. Check with the system manufacturer for more information or contact Intel's Technical Support Line.
Compatibility information on systems listed in this guide comes from various sources, including internal testing, third-party testing, system manufacturer testing, and consumer testing. Testing may range from limited application and O/S testing to a complete and thorough suite of tests. To the best of Intel's knowledge, this list contains up-to-date and accurate information. However, due to the many possible variations of a particular system model resulting from motherboard, BIOS or other system revisions, the compatibility of a listed system may vary from the original configuration listed in this guide. Although we make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information in this Upgrade Guide is accurate, Intel assumes no responsibility for error of fact or omission thereof.
If your system is not listed in this guide, Intel does not have sufficient compatibility information to include it. As a result, the system may or may not be upgradable. Intel recommends that you check with your system manufacturer or reseller before upgrading systems which are not listed in this guide to determine whether a particular system supports an OverDrive processor.
