Threshold value |
Determines the boundary between the white and black in imported images. It is used when importing characters with OCR. Dim characters can be made rich by raising the threshold value; characters appearing too rich can be made normal by reducing the value. The optimum threshold value differs with differing texts. The threshold value must be repeatedly previewed in order to ascertain the optimum value. |
