Hue fidelity

Refers to the purity of the hue. For instance, brown is a less pure red than that of a rose, which is considered a purer red. When the hue is positive its fidelity is high, and when negative its hue turns increasingly subdued and approaches gray. The image's hue fidelity can be adjusted by varying the image's cyan (blue-green), magenta and yellow with the printer driver.
