Contrast


Refers to the brightness ratio of light to dark areas of an image. When contrast is raised, the light areas becomes lighter, while the dark areas becomes darker. When contrast is reduced, the difference in shade between the lighter and darker areas diminishes. This feature is used for increasing or reducing the difference between the lighter and darker areas.
