Paper and color |
For commercial printing on color printers, various types of printing media, such as clear film or metallic paper, may be used in addition to plain white paper. Experiment with media of different colors, porosity, and levels of smoothness to achieve various effects. Also, certain high-quality types of white paper, smooth or glossy, can help produce printouts as clear as photographic paper. |
Be careful, however, when using thick paper as it may cause excessive strain to the equipment. And do not use ink jet paper in a laser printer, or vice versa, as this may cause printer jams. Check your printer manual or paper package. |
