Apple's ColorSync, Kodak's KCMS, and other color management systems create a device profile that stores data about the characteristics of each device. (Some systems include an additional profile for gamma management.) |
Apple ColorSync references the CIE color model (a basic color model), adjusts the color between devices, and accommodates the different modes of color expression such as RGB or CMYK used in each device. |
