Making iron-on transfers for T-shirts

You can make unique T-shirts featuring original illustrations or photographs. This method may not be suitable for mass production, but you can make a limited number of T-shirts for your sports club or other organization.

You do not print directly onto the T-shirt, but onto a special iron-on sheet. An ordinary color ink-jet printer is okay for this job.

The colors on the iron-on sheet will tend to be understated, so you may want to adjust the digital image to make them brighter.

The printing on the T-shirt will be reversed if the image is not first reversed through the image processing software or by applying the horizontal flip procedure before printing.
