Here's how to create an original photo album of your family pictures. You can use your computer to edit the photos if you like, add comments, and include tickets from your trips. There are probably many things besides photographs that you will want to include in the album. |

Necessities
|
A flatbed scanner such as the GT-5500 gives the best results for scanning images from photographs. Film scanners such as the FilmScan 200 should be used to import images directly from film. Letting your neighborhood photo shop put the images on a photo CD is also convenient. You will need image editing software to touch up the photographs. For the printout, you should use the EPSON Stylus Pro series or other high-quality printer. |

In order to obtain results that compare favorably with the original photographs, use the highest quality equipment for both scanning and printing. Use quality paper for the printout. |
