Creating announcements of school events

Announcements of school events should communicate the nature of the event and impart a feeling of expectation that will compel students to attend.

If the announcement contains only text, any color printer will be sufficient. If you plan to use photographs, the EPSON Stylus Photo series or a similar high-quality printer is best. Limiting yourself to the fonts that come bundled with your computer would not be effective. You should supplement them with attractive professional fonts.

Script fonts are an effective way of creating the effect of handwriting. You do not need to use the printer to output all the text and graphics. For instance, you might simply print out the text and make good use of commercially available photo-cards.
