Creating a school newspaper |
The role of a school newspaper is to inform a large number of students about happenings and events at the school. Newspapers printed on folio-size paper will be read by many students, so photographs should accompany the text to make articles more descriptive. |
Since school newspapers are often posted on bulletin boards, they should be at least A3 size, preferably larger. Optimally you will use a EPSON Stylus Pro Ex, EPSON Stylus Pro 5000, EPSON Stylus Color 1520, or other folio-sized printer. The GT-5000 flatbed scanner is convenient for scanning photographs. Limiting yourself to the fonts that come bundled with your computer will be ineffective. You should purchase an additional set of popular, attractive fonts. |
Use a large, bold font for headlines that can be seen from a distance. Arrange the photographs in a visually appealing manner. Once posted on the bulletin board, the paper is subject to wear and tear, so you should use a durable paper for printing. |
