Creating overhead projector transparencies

Many people give presentations at large meetings using slides for overhead projectors. Visual materials are a good way of appealing to an audience. In many cases, better graphics means better results.

If you want to print bar graphs and pie charts, you will need graphing or statistics software. If your materials include photographs, you should use a high-quality printer, such as the EPSON Stylus Photo series.

Since an overhead projector works on the principle of allowing light to pass through transparencies, you want to avoid too many black areas on the slide. This applies to small prints as well as to photographs. Sans serif fonts are easier to read than serif ones. The overall effect is even more impressive if you keep the design of your titles uniform.
