Creating business cards |
There are many advantages to making your business cards in-house, such as printing business cards in a hurry for a new employee, or including a special logo or photo on the card. |
If you plan to use photographs, you will need a digital camera, or an image or film scanner for photos taken with a conventional camera. Word processing software that allows you to insert images can be used, but page layout software will give you greater flexibility. Ordinary paper is too thin for business cards, so obtain smooth-surfaced card stock for printing. |
Since it's difficult to print single business cards, print several cards on one sheet of paper and cut them apart later. Inserting guidelines for cutting will make the job easier. Use a font that doesn't crowd the letters together. |
