What to do if it rains

Handy tools for shooting sessions

If it suddenly starts to rain while you are shooting, or if the spray from a fountain or waterfall wets the camera, wipe away the moisture with a dry towel as quickly as possible. Whenever you shoot outdoors, you should be prepared for sudden changes in the weather by bringing a couple of hand towels and a handkerchief. You'll find them handy at odd moments. A shower cap is a simple but effective way to protect your camera during the rain.

A common failure after a sudden rain is to take care of the camera but return it to a damp camera bag, which will result in mold on the lens. Make sure that the camera bag is completely dry before using it.

Be cautious and take along maintenance and cleaning items
