Understanding Scanners/Film scanner and transparency unitIndexHome

When the image's dpi setting is lowered, the imported image becomes smaller

When scanning film at a high dpi with a film scanner, the output size must be designated or the image is displayed too large.

Original size of a photo

When scanned at 72 dpi, the size was reduced

When a high dpi is reduced, it is important that the file size not be changed or the film not be imported after rescanning. This will change a small image with a high dpi into a large image with a low dpi.
