When a 35-mm film is scanned with the transparency unit, its periphery is out of focus |
This is caused by a small space between the transparency unit cover and the flatbed, which curls the film and causes the blurring. |
The film sleeve must always be properly set in the carrier before scanning. |
If the carrier is not available, the film sleeve must be cut apart and the separate parts must be set in a slide mount before scanning. |
