When the film is scanned with the flatbed scanner, the image turns black |
Choose the proper flatbed and film setting |
This is caused when the scanning software's transparency unit is not turned on, or the cable from the scanner to the computer is not properly connected. In these instances, even importing the reflected light from the flatbed will not be successful. |
Also, if the transparency unit is on but scanning still fails, the transparency unit may be set at Flatbed. |
Correct this by selecting the appropriate negative or positive setting on the transparency unit and re-scanning the image. |
